About weltliteratur.net

What Gives?

This blog accompanies our research in the field of Digital Humanities. It originated in our work on the (still unpublished) paper “World Literature According to Wikipedia” (there’s a preprint).

weltliteratur.net first appeared on April 23, 2016, and is edited by Frank Fischer and Robert Jäschke (both located in Berlin). Authors and co-authors are usually long-standing colleagues.

Some of us are involved in BibSonomy and the DraCor platform (Drama Corpora project).

Blog Engine and Theme

We’re relying on GitHub’s Jekyll static site generator for this blog. The theme we’re using is Jackman (theme now offline, cf. Internet Archive).
